FELL Marine - FELL Marine xFOB f/MOB+ System (69055)

xFOB f/MOB+ System

*Requires an xTAG or an xBAND*

MOB+ xFOB add more to your system
The xFOB is the heart of the MOB+ Wireless Man OverBoard System. xFOB is a small device, but packed with groundbreaking wireless technology.

The xFOB can be worn on your wrist, in your pocket, around your neck or clipped to your life jacket using either the xBAND™ or xTAG™ accessories. The waterproof xFOB™ has more than 300 hours of battery life, and is powered by an easy to change standard coin cell battery.

Universal Fit Design
The xFOB fits perfectly inside the xBAND and the xTAG (REQUIRED - NOT INCLUDED). This unique design allows you to decide how you want to use the MOB+ Wireless Cut-Off Switch.

We recognize that all boaters use their boats differently. For us this was a focal point in our design process of the product. You should choose your own boating environment. With this in mind we created the xFOB to be universal across all our accessories for the MOB+ system.

General information about the system
As you step aboard your boat, press the xFOB to connect to the xHUB. A green light and an audio signal will confirm the connection and the engine can be started. Should a fall over board occur the engine will be shut down, caused by the xFOB being under water or 10 -15 meters from the xHUB. 6 seconds after shut down passengers can restart the engine to save the person in the water. When leaving the boat press the xFOB once to disconnect.

Up to 20 xFOBs can be stored per xHUB (if more than 20 are paired the first ones which were paired will be deleted).

Only one xFOB is connected at a time, but various users of the same boat can have their personal xFOB for when they are using the boat.

Your personal safety guard
The corded kill switch is rarely used as it ties you to a very limited space onboard. With MOB+ Wireless Cut-Off Switch you regain freedom – without losing safety.

The xFOB is your personal safety guard at sea. Being placed in the accompanying xBAND or xTAG, the xFOB does not inhibit any movement or motion. Should you fall into the water the engine(s) will stop in just one second.

WiMEA MOB+
With the MOB+ Basepack you get an xFOB included. The MOB+ xFOB can be used with the xBAND or xTAG for your optimal comfort. (Sold Separately)

Sea-Tags - Sea-Tags MOB Smart Wristband (75722)

MOB Smart Wristband

Sea-Tags wristbands work according to the "principle of positive security", that is to say that the beacons transmit continuously a signal that is picked up by one or more phones equipped with the application. In case of immersion or removal of a bracelet, the signal is cut off and in response the phone or phones trigger an alarm and record the GPS position at the time of the incident.

Positive Security Principle

Once turned on and monitoring enabled, the beacons continuously emit a signal that is picked up by one or more smartphones equipped with the application.

Man at the Sea

Your smartphone alerts you if a bracelet wearer falls to the sea...In case of immersion, the signal is cut off and the phone(s) automatically triggers an alarm and records the GPS position at the time of the incident.

Cape & Distance

The Sea-Tags application displays on the map the position of the man overboard, the real-time position of the boat and it constantly updates the course and the distance to follow to retrieve the fallen teammate.

Crew Mode

In crew mode, you do not need a mobile network (GSM). You watch over your teammates and your teammates watch over you with a transmitter connected to the onboard phones via the free application.

In the event of a fall at sea, the Sea-Tags application displays on a map the position of the man overboard at the time of the incident, the real-time position of the boat and continuously updates the course and distance to follow to recover the teammate.

Solitaire Mode

Solo mode is the only case where you have to stay in a mobile network coverage area (GSM) to use the Sea-Tags application.

In the event of a fall at sea, the phone on board will send an SMS with the position of the man at sea at the time of the fall. The person on shore will be able to contact the rescue services and provide them with the latest GPS position of the person who fell overboard.

Type of Boats

Sea-Tags has been designed to be a "pleasure" product and can cover boats up to 15 meters taking into account the limitations of Bluetooth for not triggering inadvertent alert. The Sea-Tags product is not suitable for steel boats and carbon boats.

About the App:

  • The app continuously displays the position, heading and speed of the boat.
  • In the event of a man overboard, with or without GSM network coverage, the application automatically displays the heading and distance to return to its last known position.
  • Very easy to use: turn on your wristband, tap add a beacon, scan the QR code on the wristband and begin monitoring.
  • If necessary, you can contact emergency services directly from the app.
  • When you pair your beacon you will find additional information.

Features:

  • Simple and affordable
  • Possibility of pairing transmitters to multiple phones
  • No installation required on board
