CHIRP transducers enable bottom detection down to 3,000M (10,000') with 5 to 10 times greater detail and resolution so precise it's possible to distinguish between individual baitfish, game fish, and underwater structures. One transducer delivers up to 117 kHz of total bandwidth in just one installation, saving customers time and money.

As the HARD CORE model in the CHIRP Thru-Hull product line, the R109 LH/LM CHIRPS across the following bandwidths:
LH Model - Low Frequency 38-75 kHz/High Frequency 130-210 kHz

Airmar 'Smart' transducers contain active circuitry that converts the sensor data into a standard NMEA format.

NMEA 2000 versions output standard NMEA 2000 data formats and have an NMEA 2000 drop cable attached, ready to plug into a T-connector on a network backbone. These transducers are powered by the network.

Smart depth transducers use the 235kHz frequency so as not to interfere with fishfinder transducers.

Note that there are no NMEA fishfinder transducers. Fishfinder transducers produce a large volume of analog data that cannot be converted to NMEA format.

DST800L-235-N2 235kHz Bronze Thru-Hull - Long Stem - NMEA 2000

The DST800 is a Smart Triducer multi-sensor that offers depth, speed, and temperature functions in one compact thru-hull fitting. Digital signal processing inside the housing provides depth, speed, and temperature data to a chart plotter, radar screen, or digital display, eliminating the need for a dedicated depth sounder.

One hole in the boat's hull makes this Triducer multi-sensor attractive to both boat builders and boat owners. And the retractable multi-sensor is available with NMEA 0183, NMEA 2000®, or custom CAN protocols. The wide port-starboard, fan shaped beam is able to find bottom even when installed on high-deadrise hulls or on sailboats when heeled.
